The Vineyard ministries started working in Colonia Renato Vega in 2001, and construction of a new church and feeding center was started six months later. Church services and Sunday School are held every Sunday afternoon, and a Bible study and kid’s feeding program are held every Saturday morning. Seasonal music classes are also held on Saturday afternoons at the church. In these classes, teens are taught the basic skills of the guitar, bass, and drums. Renato Vega also holds occasional DIF (Mexican social service agency) sponsored programs at the church such as Dance and Karate classes.
