Mazatlán, Valles del Ejido
The first feeding center/dental clinic/church opened by La Vina in Mazatlan was in the colonia Valle del Ejido in 1997. Construction on a new church and feeding center was started a year later, and the first service was held in 1999. Church services are held every Sunday afternoon, and Bible studies are held every Wednesday afternoon. Bible classes for kids and kid’s feedings are also held on Saturday morning. Thursday night is movie night in the colonia. A movie is projected onto a big screen and people are invited to come hang out, relax, and enjoy a movie. The pastor and leaders of this colonia are Juan Carlos and his wife, Adriana.
