ABOUT Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico

Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico is a Mission reaching the poorest and most vulnerable members of our communities.

Many of these children come from dysfunctional families, single parent homes, or extreme poverty. While we provide support to all family members, we focus on children between the ages 4 to 14, where we have the greatest likelihood of helping the child achieve a better life for themselves and their children. We do this through our Vineyard Ministries Child Sponsorship Program.

Vineyard Ministries of Central Mexico, founded by Fred Collom, has been working in Central Mexico since 1978. It began with church plants in the State of Zacatecas. Eventually, in 1995, a missionary team from Fresnillo, led by Fred, moved to Mazatlan and began to build an outreach here. Over the years it has grown to house our headquarters, 16 Community Centers of Hope, and three other feeding programs.

WE CURRENTLY ARE SUPPORTING PROJECTS IN THE CITIES OF FRESNILLO, MAZATLAN, PUERTO VALLARTA, REYNOSA, TORREON, & ZACATECAS. THE MISSION IN MAZATLAN ALONE FEEDS APPROXIMATELY 75,000 MEALS A YEAR AND REACHES AT LEAST 2200 ADULTS AND CHILDREN EACH WEEK.

Here are some children available for sponsorship with Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico. Your sponsorship gives the child a weekly meal as well as individual prayer and a group bible lesson. Also basic school supplies and a new pair of shoes are given annually, a chaperoned field trip, and a Christmas party!
